       Incoloy 925 is an age-hardened nickel-iron-chromium alloy with additions of molybdenum, copper, titanium and aluminum. The chemical composition of this alloy is designed to provide a combination of high strength and excellent corrosion resistance. The nickel content is sufficient to prevent chloride ion stress corrosion cracking. Nickel, along with molybdenum and copper, also provides significant resistance to chemical reduction. Molybdenum helps resist pitting and crevice corrosion. The chromium content of the alloy resists oxidizing environments.
